After carrying out the 2003 EBT - pilot project successfully (35 tournament organisers, 88 registered teams) the EHF invited all organisers and teams to participate in the EBT 04 - 41 organisers and 91 teams from all over Europe followed this invitation and made the EBT 04 even more successful than the EBT 03 pilot project was. 

Each new EBT season starts with the EBT Masters Finals which in order to define the Champions of the previous EBT season!

Few years later the Beach Handball in general and the EBT in particular became more and more expensive. The constantly growing number of EBT teams and tournaments clearly proves this development!
